Italian striker Rolando Bianchi's Premier League experience has come to a premature end with the 24-year-old returning to Serie A to sign for Lazio. Bianchi only joined Manchester City in July from Serie A strugglers Reggina but he failed to hold down a regular starting berth at Eastlands and Lazio announced the transfer on their website on Wednesday night. He is due to be officially unveiled at 18:00 GMT on Thursday with Italian press speculating that he has joined on loan with the view to making a 12-million-euro permanent deal at the end of the season. Bianchi made a name for himself at Reggina last season, scoring 18 goals and helping the club overcome an 11-point penalty for match-fixing to nevertheless avoid relegation. But since arriving in England he has played 19 times but started only seven matches for City, scoring four goals
