Mansare extends Toulouse contract

Toulouse's Guinea international Fode Mansare has signed a two-year contract extension keeping him at the French first division side until 2010, the club announced on Tuesday. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder, who is part of Guinea's squad participating in the African Nations Cup in Ghana, arrived at Toulouse in 2005 from Montpellier, where he spent six years. The contract extension "proves once again TFC's (Toulouse Football Club) desire to retain their top players," a club statement read. Guinea have been drawn in Group A of the African Nations Cup, from January 20 through February 10, with hosts Ghana, Morocco and Namibia.
